Structural Integration Therapy in Beverly Hills
Christopher has been in practice since 1994. First getting certified as a massage therapist through California Healings Arts College, The Massage School of Santa Monica and The Institute of Professional Practical Therapy. Ever curious, looking for new ways to help his clients, the road lead to getting certified in Structural Integration. Also, known as Rolfing. Studying at The Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing, in San Diego.
Structural Integration is a type of bodywork that focuses on the connective tissue, or fascia, of the body. Injury, stress, work-related repetitive movements, and the effects of aging can cause fascia to lose its elasticity and become shorter, tighter, and more dense. Tightened fascia pulls our muscles and skeleton out of proper alignment and posture, which can cause pain, discomfort, and fatigue. Structural Integration works to lengthen, stretch, and soften this tissue to restore postural balance and ease of movement. A great compliment to chiropractic work.
